Bracknell Choral Society is a very friendly, non-auditioning choir of approximately 110 members. We perform a wide variety of music, including the major classical choral works, and strive to deliver high quality concerts in and around the Bracknell area, usually 3 to 4 concerts a year.
The professional soloists and musicians who perform with us at our concerts add to the enjoyment of our audience.
New members are always welcome and are invited to attend two rehearsals before joining, so that you are able to get a feel for the choir before making your decision to join. The choir has different part groups – sopranos 1 and 2, altos 1 and 2, tenors, basses 1 and 2 – and we can help you decide which part would be most appropriate for you.
We also welcome any non-singers who would like to help at our concerts.
The subscription for the 2022-2023 season for a full member is £150, and for a student or young person, £50. People joining after December pay 40% of the annual subscription for each term, except students who pay £10 per term.
Members enjoy an active social programme and a concert tour abroad every two years. I the non-tour years, the choir holds at least one singing workshop to help develop the skills of choir members.
Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm during school term time at:
